Harrisburg — As a element of its ongoing hard work to support STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) entry and initiatives throughout the point out, the Pennsylvania Office of Schooling has partnered with NextGenScience to launch the Pennsylvania Science Education Leaders (PennSEL) Network, a team of leadership groups symbolizing 19 areas with the shared objective of increasing science understanding for all of the Commonwealth’s college students.

In September of 2019, the Condition Board of Training assigned the Division of Education and learning with the undertaking of updating Pennsylvania’s science, technologies, surroundings, ecology, and engineering expectations for the very first time in about 20 several years. The PennSEL Community will aid help educators all through these updates.
