Ex-soccer coach pleads responsible to filming trade scholar in toilet | Crime

The Bedford person billed past year with secretly filming an exchange college student being with his relatives previous 12 months pleaded responsible Tuesday to attempted sexual exploitation of a slight. 

Matthew Dion, 49, of Bedford, was a longtime youth soccer mentor whose family members hosted a 15-year-outdated overseas exchange college student in the spring of 2020. In accordance to the U.S. Attorney’s Workplace, the pupil instructed the exchange group he thought Dion was filming him in the shower. The trade firm took the allegations to the Bedford police. 

In accordance to an affidavit, the college student explained to law enforcement that Dion would typically enter the bathroom just right before and after he used it, and ultimately discovered that the pen he normally saw in the toilet contained a little camera.

Police later on located a computer memory card in Dion’s car or truck, with illustrations or photos of the boy showering, and visuals that showed Dion location up the digital camera. 

Twice the target woke at evening to uncover Dion crouching beside his bed, according to the affidavit. Dion claimed he was wanting for a little something — at a person position he said it was the relatives cat — and questioned the scholar not to convey to his wife.
