The Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors adopted a resolution Tuesday recognizing February as Black Heritage Thirty day period and this year’s nationwide concept of The Black Spouse and children: Illustration, Identification and Variety.

“We know that Black heritage is American heritage,” reported Lawanda Lyons-Pruitt, president of the Santa Maria-Lompoc NAACP.
