Northern Santa Barbara County citizens took two of the four major honors in the California Mid-Point out Fair’s 2022 Dwelling Winemaking Levels of competition, and numerous other area residence vintners received medals for their wines, according to the checklist of winners launched Wednesday.

John Gilbert, of Santa Ynez, captured the coveted very best of display as nicely as the greatest white wine awards for a sauvignon blanc, alongside with three gold and 3 silver ribbons furthermore an honorable point out for some of his other wines.

Brad Bunkelman, of Santa Maria, took home the award for the ideal rosé of cabernet sauvignon, as well as six gold and 9 silver ribbons for other wines he entered in the competitiveness.
