Former college students, like Tracie Gordon, gathered as a crane daggled the framework, then crews secured it atop the building.
“It’s been a staple to the local community for many years,” reported Gordon.
That staple turned to soot in January 2020, when a hearth tore via the building.
“I was here the day it was burning, stood correct out there crying with everybody else,” explained Glenda Stanley, who also attended the faculty as a little one.
